These Strawberry Cheese Danishes are buttery, flaky crescent rolls with a delicious strawberry center and a vanilla glaze drizzle. They’re the perfect treat to have on any day or to start out your morning with!
My hubby is a HUGE fan of cheese danishes. Me, not so much, until I made these delicious Strawberry Cheese Danishes! 🙂
I remember when Kale and I were dating he told me about a place that sold his favorite cheese danishes. It was up in Veyo, Ut. A tiny little town about 20 minutes north of St. George.
One day my sister had to go there, so I decided to tag along with her and grab one of those ‘amazing’ danishes to surprise Kale with. I was so excited! I returned back to his house and handed it to him. He looked at me like I was crazy.
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“This isn’t the right one.” he said.
“What? I got it at that market in Veyo.”
He replied, “This is a packaged Danish I can get anywhere!”
“Oh.” Silence…
So low and behold, I accidentally bought him the wrong one. In that market there are fresh homemade danishes they sell there, but me being Miss. Dumb Blonde, bought him a packaged one that was next to all the Hostess stuff! lol Ooopsie.
Hey, It’s the thought that counts! Right? haha.
These Strawberry Cheese Danishes are buttery, flaky crescent rolls with a delicious strawberry center and a vanilla glaze drizzle. They’re the perfect treat to have on a hot summer day or to start out your morning with.
Not only are these a cinch to make, but they taste a million times better than the store bought versions. And with only a 30 minute prep time, you can have these delicious baby’s in your belly in no time!

There are recipes online to make your own crescent roll dough. I’d do that before using Pillsbury, I haven’t looked at their ingredients, but I’d bet there are more than they need as well as a fairly high sodium content. Don’t know about transfats either.
Looks so good right now, breakfast time. But they’d be good anytime. There’s never a wrong time to eat yummy sweet stuff!
Hilarious story! These danishes look delicious and so easy.
Great story! Sounds like something I would do…hehe! These look great just like so many of your recipes. I’m hungry now.

What a great story. I love it. These look like they turned out perfectly.
I just got these out of the oven and mine do not look like yours! Did you spread the rectangles out a bit so they were a little stretched out? I did not do that and I think I should have! I think they will still taste good, though. 🙂 I have filled crescents before and I should have known to do it. Thanks for all the awesome recipes. I am a HUGE fan of cheese danishes!
My husband is also a huge danish fan. I am going to have to surprise him and make these this weekend. Thanks for sharing. So happy to be your newest follower. check out my blog when you have a chance.
These look incredibly delicious. I can’t wait to try them.
I looked at the recipe on phillsbury.com and the measurements were different compared to the one you posted. Did you modify it?
I just made these quick this morning for my husband, it’s our 9th anniversary today, he absolutely loved them! The only thing I changed, is I used strawberry pie filling instead of jam!
Hi, the recipie seems simple enough, but I just have one question. When you say “uncoil each,” do you mean each triangle after you have already rolled up the entire sheet? Or am I missing something? Please help…..
Oh my goodness, I just figured it out. Lol. I feel silly. Thanks for sharing your recipe and have a happy holiday.
Omg, I am still confused on the uncoil step…please help
This were wonderful! Does anyone know if they freeze well, if i want to make them ahead of time?
Hi Holly, i made these for My husband this morning and they turned out great. He loves danishes, and when I saw THem on your site, I thought I would give them a try.
The only exception I had to make was to put them in the fridge before rolling because the filling was running out. Thanks for another great recipe!
