Orange Julius is a delicious frozen drink that tastes like a creamsicle. I like to serve this with a yummy breakfast or brunch. It also makes for a great summer time treat too!
How do I even begin to describe these amazing Orange Julius drinks? There is an endless amount of words that I could use to describe them. If I could only pick a few they would have to be creamy, frothy, and delicious!
This frozen summer time drink tastes almost identical to a melted creamsicle. It’s both refreshing and sweet, the perfect combo for these hot summer months!
I’ve been making these Orange Julius’ since Kale and I were married. I used to make these for us with our Sunday breakfasts as a yummy addition. They are so simple to make requiring only a few ingredients. All you have to do is throw all the ingredients in a blender, add a few ice cubes at a time, blend, and then these frothy and creamy drinks are all yours to enjoy.
When I ask my kids what their favorite summer time treat is, they always reply with an orange creamsicle. They absolutely love them, but when I introduced them to these beloved drinks they now say they love these Orange Julius’ even more. π
Every time I make these my kids drop whatever they’re doing to come and grab one of these tasty drinks. These have definitely remained a family favorite treat for these hot summer months, and I hope they will become a favorite for you and your family too!

What a delicious looking drink for breakfast or even anytime. I’m starting a new linky on my blog this Saturday called “Sweets for a Saturday.” If you get a chance, I’d like to invite you to stop by then and link this up.
Some very good friends of ours (who at the time were neighbors and today live on another continent) used to make these for us when we’d get together. This brings back such great memories. Thanks for posting! I haven’t made these in years and will plan to make them for my family this weekend!!! π
I’ve never had an Orange Julius, but this looks yummy! π
My siblings and I use to make these all the time in the summer when we were kids. I am so glad I found this recipe, thank you for sharing!
I love these…growing up there was a stand in our local mall. was always there. but a quick question………..what could i add to this to make more of an adult drink? Not sure what alcohol would work best with this. Any suggestions?
Thank you,
Lisa
I would say vodka would be a fun addition if wanting to make it an adult drink. It would be like a frozen screw driver! π
